!Celebrate Girard! 25th Anniversary Gala + 100th Birthday Commemoration. Lavish food from Santa Fe's finest chefs and complimentary beverages in the "Braniff lounge". Live music and dancing in the La Fonda del Sol Ballroom. Art auction by noted Santa Fe and international artists, holiday gift baskets and Girard collectibles. Bouffants, miniskirts, 60's fashions, and other Girard-inspired attire encouraged, but not required. Proceeds benefit Museum of International Folk Art exhibitions and programs. Tickets are $150.00. The art to be auctioned at the CELEBRATE Girard benefit at the Museum of International Folk Art on November 10, 2007 is starting to arrive! The pieces have a sun theme related to Alexander Girard's New York restaurant of the 1960's "La Fonda de Sol".
