Museum of International Folk Art Director Khristaan Villela, Ph.D., will speak on Alexander Girard’s world, from his work for Herman Miller and Braniff Airlines, to Hemisfair ’68 and his contributions to mid-century modern design, and how these all connect to the Museum of International Folk Art’s Girard Wing and the permanent installation he designed.

Join us for joint programming with the Georgia O’Keeffe Museum for a morning of creating artwork inspired by the 20th-century designer Alexander Girard, in a program presented in collaboration with the Museum of International Folk Art.
