By car:

  • From the downtown Santa Fe Plaza: From the intersection of Alameda and Old Santa Fe Trail, travel south on Old Santa Fe Trail. At the stoplight at Cordova/Armenta, turn left onto Armenta and continue to all-way stop. Follow signs to Museum Hill.
  • From Albuquerque and points south: From I-25, take the St. Francis Drive exit and continue on St. Francis until Cordova Road. Turn right at the light onto Cordova. Continue straight through the light at Old Pecos Trail (here, Cordova changes to Armenta). Continue on Armenta to all-way stop. Follow signs to Museum Hill.
  • From Española, Taos, and points north: From US 285/84 (St. Francis Drive), turn left at the light onto Cordova Road. Continue straight through the light at Old Pecos Trail (here, Cordova changes to Armenta). Continue on Armenta to all-way stop. Follow signs to Museum Hill.
  • In the event of missing, sun-faded, or snow-covered Museum Hill signs, at the all-way stop at the end of Armenta/Cordova, turn left onto Camino Corrales. At the next all-way stop, turn right onto Old Santa Fe Trail. Make the second right onto Camino Lejo. Follow Camino Lejo until the FREE museum parking lot on your left.

By bus:

Take the Santa Fe Trails city bus “M” line to Museum Hill. See bus schedule, map, and fare information.

By train/shuttle:

Ride the New Mexico Rail Runner and get off at the last stop, the Santa Fe Depot. Catch the free Santa Fe Pick-Up shuttle to Museum Hill on Montezuma Avenue. Look for the sign that says, “Pick It Up Here.”
